Many food blogs teach people how to bake. Sprinkle Goodies hopes to help people believe they can bake.

“Happiness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it begins with a few simple ingredients and a little chocolate.”
Welcome to Sprinkle Goodies – Where Baking Meets Happiness
Simple ingredients, a little chocolate, and a touch of homemade happiness. These banana and toasted sesame bites have a soft center, golden edges, and a rich chocolate-peanut butter filling.
These little treats combine naturally sweet banana and nutty toasted sesame seeds with a smooth dark chocolate and peanut butter center. They are easy to prepare and perfect when you want a small homemade dessert without complicated steps.
Ingredients

Makes approximately 10–12 treats, depending on size.
- 2 ripe bananas
- 100 g sesame seeds (about ⅔ cup)
- 80 g dark chocolate (about 2.8 oz)
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- A few almonds or walnuts, for decoration (optional)
Preparation
1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown, stirring frequently. Set aside and allow them to cool.
2. Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork or blend them with a hand blender until smooth.
3. Stir the cooled sesame seeds into the mashed bananas until evenly combined.

4. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
5. Using a tablespoon, place small portions of the banana-sesame mixture onto the prepared tray and shape them into rounds. Use the back of the spoon to make a small well in the center of each round.
6. Finely chop the dark chocolate and melt it gently over a double boiler or in the microwave, using short intervals and stirring between each one.
7. Stir the peanut butter into the melted chocolate until smooth.
8. Spoon the chocolate mixture into the wells in the banana-sesame rounds. Add a few chopped almonds or walnuts on top, if desired.

9. Bake for about 12–15 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown while the centers remain soft.
10. Allow the treats to cool on the tray. After about 30 minutes, they should be ready to enjoy.
Baking Tips
- Toast the sesame seeds carefully; they can turn from golden to burnt quickly.
- If the melted chocolate feels too thick, let it cool slightly and stir again before filling the rounds.
- The nuts are optional, so you can leave them off or use whichever nuts you have on hand.
Storage
Once completely cool, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 3 days. The texture is soft, so handle them gently.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I skip the peanut butter? Yes. The chocolate filling will still work, though it will be a little less creamy and will have a more intense chocolate flavor.
Can I use milk chocolate? Yes, but the filling will be sweeter. Dark chocolate balances the sweetness of the ripe bananas nicely.
How do I know they are ready? Look for golden-brown bottoms and set edges. The centers should remain soft rather than dry.
