This easy condensed milk pudding comes together quickly, needs no baking, and can be prepared ahead of time—making it a lovely choice for everyday sweet cravings or when guests are coming.

Easy Condensed Milk Pudding – 3-Ingredient No-Bake Dessert
Ingredients
  • 2 cups (500 ml) milk
  • 1 can (about 14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4–5 heaped tablespoons cornstarch (about 1.4–1.8 oz / 40–50 g)
  • Shredded coconut, for decoration (optional)
  • Fresh blackberries, for decoration (optional)
Preparation

1. Mix the cornstarch with a small amount of the cold milk until completely smooth and lump-free.

2. Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan and heat gently over low heat. Add the sweetened condensed milk and continue heating.

3. Slowly pour in the cornstarch mixture while stirring continuously.

4. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. After a few minutes of gentle cooking, it should reach a thick, pudding-like consistency.

5. Remove from the heat and keep stirring slowly for a little while so a skin does not form. Pour into serving glasses or a mold lined with plastic wrap. For a molded dessert, make sure the mold is well lined before filling.

6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

7. Once completely chilled, carefully turn the pudding onto a serving plate and gently remove the plastic wrap.

8. Decorate with shredded coconut and fresh blackberries if desired. The decoration is optional.

Baking Tips

Keep the heat low and stir continuously to prevent lumps and scorching. If you want a firmer pudding for unmolding, use the full amount of cornstarch.

Storage

Keep covered in the refrigerator and enjoy chilled. Because this dessert is prepared ahead, it is convenient for entertaining.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I serve it in glasses? Yes. If you do not need to unmold it, simply divide the warm pudding between serving glasses and chill.

Can I decorate it differently? Absolutely. Coconut and blackberries are optional; fresh berries or a light dusting of coconut also work beautifully.
